American Sitcom? Which one is better

When we talk about sitcom, there's like 4 to 5 sitcom show from early 90s until 2022 that are really good such as Seinfeld, Modern Family (my personal favorite), Big Bang Theory, The Office, Two and a Half Men, Friends, How I Met Your Mother and many more. But now I want to talk about 2 of high rated American show each produce by Warner Bros Studio and 20th Century Fox Production. Which is F.R.I.E.N.D.S and How I Met Your Mother H.I.M.Y.M. 2 of this sitcom are well beloved by each fanbase and they do have strong fanbase all over the world. Each sitcom location are mainly focus on New York City, the city that never sleeps. It suit well with the show because how the location are both related with the characters and also the story line. Even though we all know that both of the sitcom location production are in Los Angeles studio. Friend is a comfort show, fun, stress relieved that you watch by yourself or with friends or family. But in the other hand, HIMYM  are also like Friends but with more emotional roller coaster and more focus on character development. In Friends, the show focus on the 6 friends, Joey, Phoebe, Chandler, Monica, Ross and Rachel on how their daily life and chaotic energy. Well all already know that Ross and Rachel will end up being together even though Joey really almost being with Rachel. While Monica and Chandler relationship are awkward, chaotic and fun relationship. While in HIMYM, the story line are about Ted Mosby love life and how his friends are all involved in it but it somehow manage to also focus on other character as well such Marshall and Lily, Barney Stinson (Mr Legendary) and Robin Scherbatsky. Friends ending are somehow really predictable especially when Rachel pregnant of Ross child, it somehow manage to give a hint they will eventually end up being together. But HIMYM ending in the other hand are really unpredictable especially when the mother (Tracy Mosby) to Ted Mosby children's were introduced on the last season of the series but her present are somehow were much more early than we ever expected on season 2 (Lucky Penny: Episode 12). We all expect that the show will end with Ted living happily with wife and the kids, but somehow the producer decide to kill off Tracy Mosby character on the last episode of HIMYM. Who would predict that Ted will end up with Robin. Especially when season 9 they mainly focus on Barney and Robin wedding preparation and ceremony. They get married but somehow divorced 3 years later with Barney again being wild man with casual seks and end up having a baby girl from one of his fling. For me Ted and Tracy Mosby love life is a fairytale love story which is amazing but just like other fairytale love story, it doesn't last forever. I speak for all of us who love HIMYM, Ted and Tracy shoud be the endgame and should be the closing chapter of HIMYM. Nevertheless, HIMYM taught me a lot of life lessons and the reality of real life. It was a emotional roller coaster and HIMYM for me is one of GREATEST AMERICAN SITCOM ever being produced. On the next blog post.
